I began working with leather when I was 8 years old.  My grandfather, an legend among miners in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, gave me my first knife and axe.  From that time on, I have been working and customizing leather products.

In 1968, I created the ORIGINAL Quick Release knife sheath for a Buck 110.  From family to friends to hunters and anglers, this sheath has become a staple.  The knife is drawn and opened with only one hand.

I have since designed and crafted sheaths for both custom and factory made knives and I only work with the finest leather, dyes and accessories.
